Course Overview

This course is thirty-three hours in duration and involves hands-on computer time.  It is considered to be an introductory level course.  It assumes that you have mastered the material covered in the "Introduction To The Personal Computer" course and that you now need to obtain a complete working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system.  You will learn how to navigate through Windows menus, access and use Windows programs, manage files and folders, and customize your own Windows environment.

Text:  "Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Edition" by Steven M. Johnson and Neil J. Salkind.

Pencil or Pen, and Note Pad
