Internet Basics

Course Overview

This course is six hours in duration and involves hands-on computer time.  It is considered an introductory level course, and assumes that you know little if anything about the use of the Internet.  You will learn basic Internet terminology, how to use the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, how to search the Internet and retrieve information, and how to set up and use a free e-mail account.

 

Course Prerequisite

"Introduction To The Personal Computer (A100)"

"MS Windows 2000 (B100)"

(or)

Equivalent knowledge.

 

Recommended Materials

Reading & Study Materials:  Class Handouts

Pencil or Pen, and Note Pad.

Course hand-outs will be provided in class.
