Course Overview

This course is thirty-three hours in duration and involves hands-on computer time.  It is considered an introductory level course.  MS Word is one of the premier word processing programs on the market today.  The basic use of this program is for producing letters, memos, and reports.  It's powerful features allow you to create mailing labels and address envelopes, create forms, and produce newsletters.

Course Prerequisite

"Introduction To The Personal Computer (A100)"

"MS Windows 2000 (B100)"

Equivalent knowledge.

 

Recommended Materials

Text:  "Microsoft Word 2000 At a Glance" by Jerry Joyce, Jerry Joy, and Marianne Moon.

Course hand-outs will be provided in class.
